Jamestown First Baptist Church is excited to invite families from every corner of our

community to a dynamic, Christ-centered experience: Magnified! VBS 2025. VBS will take place from Sunday, July 7 to Thursday, July 10, each evening from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Registration will be from 5 pm to 5:30 pm each evening. Children from Preschool through 12th grade are invited to attend, and the event will be held at 165 W. Cumberland Avenue in Jamestown, KY.
This year’s VBS theme is “Magnified!”—a joyful exploration of God’s greatness seen in the smallest of things. Based on Lifeway’s engaging VBS curriculum, each night will center around the theme verse, Psalm 34:3: “Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together!” With the motto “Zoom In! Focus on God!”, kids will dive into Scripture, worship, crafts, and fun activities—all designed to help them see how God’s power and presence show up in every detail of life, even in the smallest of things.
This year, they are launching something brand new. They are calling it VBX: Vacation Bible School to the Extreme! This exciting track is specifically geared toward students in 5th through 12th grade, with interactive teaching, high-energy activities, and small-group discussions that will challenge and encourage older students to live boldly for Christ.

Our volunteers have been praying for weeks that will use this week in the lives of young people. From preschoolers to high schoolers, we are thrilled to see what all God is going to do in the lives of participants of VBS 2025!"
The week will culminate in a special Family Night on Thursday, July 10, when parents and guardians are invited to join the fun. Beginning at 5:30 pm, July 10, the evening will feature a thrilling visit from special guest: Gunnar’s Bees! This live demonstration will give families an up-close look at the wonder of bees and the God who designed them, reminding us that His glory is revealed even in the smallest of His creation. A meal will also be provided after the event for the entire family to enjoy.
The VBS team kindly asks that families pre-register online if possible by visiting www.jfirst.church. However, in-person registration will be available each night from 5:00 to 5:30 p.m.—so don’t worry if you’re registering at the door! 
VBS is completely free, and every child and teen in the community is invited to attend.
